抄録: Reduction of C=C, C=O, and C=N double bonds by an acid-stable NADH analogue, 3-aminocarbonyl-N-benzyl-1, 4-dihydroquinoline (BzlQH) was reported. BzlQH reduced β-nitrostyrene in 28% yield and pyridine-2-aldehyde and the Schiff base in relatively high yields (58-85%) in the presence of Brφnsted acids. In all the cases, the yield is superior to that by N-benzyl-1, 4-dihydronicotinamide under the comparable reaction conditions. The results indicate that the reduction reaction by BzlQH is largely improved by added Brφnsted acids. 抄録: Solubility and diffusion coefficients of normal C2-C6 hydrocarbons in unvulcanized natural rubber have been determined. Data on concentration dependence of the solubility constant could be correlated by S=S0 exp(αc) and the parameter α are related to the Flory-Huggins interaction parameter χ approximately by α=2χ+1. The concentration dependence of diffusion coefficient are fitted by the expression D=D0(1-αc) exp (βc) derived from a first-approximation free volume theory. The diffusion coefficient, D0 extrapolated to zero concentration and its activation energy decrease with increasing molecular size up to C3 and reach a constant value for C4 and higher hydrocarbons. The parameter β is almost constant for C4-C6 hydrocarbons. 抄録: Methods for the determination of the degree of crosslinking and the number of effective chains per unit volume in polyurethane networks have been described. The methods are as follws; 1) calculation from stoichiometry, 2) calculation from molecular weight of linear polyurethanes which were obtained by the degradation of crosslink site of cured polyurethane, 3) calculation from amine degradation, and 4) calculation from Young's modulus. The allophanate-cured polyurethanes prepared from PPG, TDI, and 1, 4-butanediol have been used as model networks in order to ascertain the validity of these methods. The parameters of network structure calculated from the experimental methods are lower than those from stoichiometry. The parameters calculated from method 2 and 3 were fairly close to those from Young's moduli. 抄録: The investigation of the electrolytic hydrogen evolution reaction on nickel has been carried out in both H2S04a nd HCl solutions, using permeation-potential and current-potential relationships as a diagnostic criterion for mechanism determination. The mechanism for hydrogen evolution reaction on nickel in both solutions, regardless of the addition of H2SeO3 is a "Slow discharge-fast recombination", not depending upon pH values. However, the experimental results could not distinguish that the mode of adsorption of hydrogen is either the Langmuir or Temkin type. 抄録: A Sand is such a complex material that is initiated dilatancy with loading and is largely influenced by stress histories. In the previous paper, an incremental stress-strain relationship was proposed which was given in terms of tensor considering the subsequent anisotropy of Sands. But it had a tendency to overestimate observed extensive dilatancy and it could not calculate stress strain behaviour of Sands under both unloading and reloading. So newly in this paper, an elasto-plastic stresss strain relationship (constitutive equation) is proposed considering a Sand as strain hardening material not only for shear but for compression, by adopting stress-dilatancy equation which is widely admitted in the field of soil engineering. And some stress path tests of Toyoura Sand are carried out for the verification of the proposed equation. 抄録: This paper discusses a method for calculating the "true" undrained strength ratio, (cu/p)ss, and the internal friction angle, φ'ss, in terms of effective stress of normally consolidated clays measured in a simple shear test. The proposed method consists in assuming that the directions of the principal stress axes during the simple shear test are expressed by the relation proposed by Oda and Konishi. Experimental results obtained from three types of clays confirm that the method gives more reasonable estimates of (cu/p)ss and φ'ss for normally consolidated clay compared to other methods. The method also supports Ladd's statement that (cu/p)ss should generally be less than (cu/p)TC determined from the triaxial compression test due to undrained strength anisotropy. 抄録: An analytical expedient for salinity intrusion of well-mixed estuaries is to solve one dimensional convective diffusion equation in any kind of way. As the stream of estuary is unsteady due to tide and the flow area is nonuniform in longitudinal direction, the flow velocity, the cross sectional area and the dispersion coefficient in estuary vary with time and position. Therefore it is very difficult to solve analytically the convective diffusion equation which has these functions of time and position for hydraulic coefficients. In this paper the complex problems are made simple as follows, solving the equation of salinity convective diffusion in estuaries. Considering that the diffusion equation holds good averagely during a tidal cycle and solving the diffusion equation in wihch velocity is transformed into constant river discharge velocity, longitudinal salinity distribution at low tide slack is determined. Next, the salinity distribution at low tide slack is carried through the estuary by means of tidal velocity. The solutions obtained by this method are presented and are applied in the Chikugo River. 抄録: For weight saving, access and piping, many holes are made on plate structure such as a ship hull and as teel girder bridge. In addition to the existence of hole, the ultimate strength of plate is decreased by initial imperfections caused by the application of welding and gas cutting to fabricate it. And the collapsed failure of such a structure has not ceased to exist. In this report, the numerical analyses of perforated plates with initial deflection subjected to in-plane compression are carried by mentioned means in first report. The deforming behavier, extension of yielding region, collapsed load and collapsed mode on the plate with a hole are investigated. By the results of those analyses, the relations between ultimate strength and mode or value of initial deflection or hole diameter are clarified. However, welding process has a somewhat undesirable effect of adversely affecting the toughness of the weld bond at welded joints. In order to secure the safety of steel tower, therefor, the study on fracture toughness welded Neck Flange joint is one of important problems. In this experiment, the authors carried out COD bend test with weld test specimens of SM 4IB and STK 55 steels which were welded using CO2 arc process. 抄録: This paper is concerned with the design and implementation of the inverse assembler which is used for analyzing MELCOM-70system programs. The inverse assembler translates machine-code programs into symbolic assembly language. It works on a two-pass basis, that is, it makes two scans of the machine-code program. The first pass builds up a symbol table by collecting internal symbols and external symbols, and the second pass does the actual translation, using the internal and external symbols generated in the first pass. The inverse assembler designed here has the following four features. 1. The generated internal symbols represent a certain content of each address. 2. User is able to use fifty external symbols which fit a content of each address. 3. Series internal symbols are generated even to a program separated into two segments. 4. 抄録: A new bipedal walking model has been proposed and the walking motion of the model has been analyzed. The model has a waist width and hence provides more realistic information of the human gait than the old model does. The model consists of two masses located at a waist region and rigid links corresponding to the thighs, low legs, and feet, jointed by pins together with torsional springs. Difference from the old model is the following : Two hip joints are separated for a waist width and are connected to the femoral region of each leg with torsional springs. The old model has no waist width and hence that walking motion is restricted on one vertical plane. On this new model, however, the walking motion is allowed in two vertical planes. Therefore, the waist swings sinusoidally in a holizontal plane during walking. In almost investigations of a human walking, it seems that attention is focused on the method of optimum control of the driving force or torque in order to attain a normal gait. In this investigation, on the other hand, driving force is only a waist swing which is not controlled. Only thing to do is to choose the appropriate spring constants so that the normal walking is possible.2010-09-17T02:14:31Z
