Description: 西国三十三所観音霊場のひとつ。天平5年(733)に行基を導師として本尊の開眼供養をおこなったと伝えられている。仁王門から本堂へと至る登廊の両側に植えられた牡丹の花時には、数多くの花見客が訪れる。 / One of the 33 Kannon of west Japan. The consecration ceremony is said to have been conducted by Gyoki as the head priest in 733. Many people come to see the peony flowers planted on both sides of the corridor leading from the Nio Gate to the Main Building.
