Abstract: The avifauna of Tsushima Islands consists of 217 species belonging to 49 families. In this enumaration, six species are included, which are not recorded recently. The immigration and nesting seasons are given in the table for each of the enumarated birds. The habitat conditions and other noteworthy facts are also given in the text. In Tsushima Islands, 21 per cent of the birds are resident birds and 77 per cent are migratory ones. The features of the avifauna can be summarized as follows. (1) Some of the winter birds stay through the summer season in the islands, (2) the Ord. Accipitres abounds as compared with the other regions and (3) there can be seen such rare species as Pitta brachyura and Eurystomus orientalis abundus.
