The purpose of the present investigations was to examine the problems occurring in the body of child of the Y elementary school in Nagasaki City. The present investigations showed that many male and female children are yawnning from the mornig and their flicker values also decrease at the time when they go to school. Therefore, these results may show the decrease in awakening of cerebral cortex system. Furthermore, from the present results it seems that the decline of reflex system, which contributes to the defensive reation of the body of child, occurs in mamy male and female children. In addition, the present results showed that many male and female children are resting on the back of chair and supporting the cheek with the hands, when sitting on the chair. It seems likely that these results are due to the decline of back strength.
