抄録: We have to get enough intelligence and deep insight into our own culture before we compare with another one. Recently it has been easy to say that we live in a world that is often called, "cross-cultural". I pick up on the "cross-cultural "examples when I work with students from foreign countries and those who return to Japan from other countries. Through their experience they are able to understand two cultures at the same time. As the number of international students increase, it is easier to deal with "cross-cultural" understanding. Undoubtedly, we can gain valuable information through their experiences. In other words, it is very usuful for us to understand unknown cultures and behaviours of foreign people. In this paper I will discuss the students effect on the situations around them, especially in Campus Life. Through this, I will show how Japanese as a foreign language is not only very valuable to foreign students but also to Japanese students understanding of their own culture and language.
