Abstract: This paper presents a method of analysis of elastic-plastic finite displacement problems of thin walled curved beams. The fundamental equilibrium equations are obtained from the principle of incremental virtual work. Based on the discrete general solution of fundamental differential equation, the geometrical and material nonlinearities are analyzed by incrementalload procedure (step by step method) and tangent modulus theory. As the result of numerical analysis, the propriety of the present method was verfied.
