Abstract: In this papar, an approximate method for analyzing the geometrical nonlinear problems of three-hinged arches is proposed. The general solutions for differential equation of arch members are obtained in discrete forms by applying numerical integration, and they give the shear forces, axial forces, bending moments, rotaions and deflections at all discrete points. As the applications of the present method, geometrical nonlinear problems of three-hinged arches are calculated.
