Abstract: In this paper, we deal with international labor movement in a two-country macroeconomic model to show the effects of foreign-worker inflow on native workers' employment levels and real consumption wages. We investigate the case where the union treats native and foreign workers equally by trying to provide full employment for both native and foreign workers and the case where the union does not treat native and foreign workers equally by trying to provide full employment for only native workers. We find that it is very likely that employment levels and real consumption wages of native workers are higher when the union treats native and foreign workers equally than when the union does not treat them equally.
