Abstract: Some experiments were carried out with "Mejina" Givella punctata GREY to see whether or not the fish takes up strontium as the concentration of strontium and calcium in the environmental sea water is higher than that in the general sea water. After 40 days, the amount of strontium in the scale, skin, gill, muscle, digestive tract, liver and vertebra of the index fishes was larger than that in those organs of the fish living in general sea water, although the accumulation varied in degree by organ. The accumulation was especially dense in hard tissue such as scale, gill and vertebra compared with that in soft tissue. The accumulation of strontium in fish organs was related to the absolute concentration of strontium in the environmental water irrespective of the concentration of calcium in the water. / 飼育海水中のSrおよびCaの濃度変化にともなうSrの海産魚,メジナGirella Pun-ctata GREYへの蓄積状態を調べた。各組織(鱗,皮,鰓,筋肉,消化管,肝臓,脊椎骨)は取りこみ状況に相違がみられ,またSrの蓄積は硬組織の方が軟組織よりも比較的多かった。SrおよびCaの添加方法の相違による各水槽間の同一組織のSrの取りこみには明瞭な差は認められなかった。このことはSrの取りこみが環境水のCa量にあまり関係なくSrの絶対量にのみ関係するものと考えられる。
