Abstract: In this paper, the heat stress of the polyethylene gut is measured under various heating process and drawn temperature. An experiment by the author has shown that: (1) Dividing the heating process in several steps, the heat stress of the polyethylene gut appear at the maximum temperature of before heating process less than the drawn temperature of this polyethylene gut. (2) Shrinking the polyethylene gut, the heat stress of the polyethylene gut is shifted to the high temperature in proportion as the shrunk ratio. (3) In the most part of the heat stress-temperature curve of the polyethylene gut, the heat stress is a linear function with respect to the heating temperature. (4) The pulse wave velocity-temperature curves are no change with various heat process.
