Abstract: The ABO blood groups of the experimentally putrefied bloods were determined by means of the agglutination inhibition test, and the following results were obtained. (1) It was possible to determine the blood groups of the blood specimens putrefied for nine monthes at 37℃ in the atomosphere saturated with water vapor. (2) Non-specific absorption reactions of agglutinations with the putrefied specimens were slightly observed, and they caused difficulty in determining the blood group. Such absorption, however, would be hardly observed, if a proper proportion of the specimen against antiserum was used. (3) The ultrasonic wave method was useful even for the blood group determination of the putrefied specimen.
