Abstract: Three kinds of textiles which were given drop-absorption tests were the same in kind of fiber and manner of weaving, but different in thickness of yarn. The factors influencing the rapidity of permeation were examined as follows : 1) In the following formulas K=v/t K=k0・k k0= ・・・ , "k0" is in proportion to the thickness and the number of capillary. When "cover factor" is used instead of the number, the ratio of "k0" which is considered quantity in proportion to that of yarn is 9 : 9 : 7. 2) γ/η being definite, "k" becomes quantity which is proportioned to cosθ3/2, while the kind of fiber being the same, contact angle θ is influenced only by the difference of contact angle caused by the condition of the surface of textiles. The ratio of "K," however, is 4 : 2 : 1, so that the condition of the surface of the textiles is considered to have a great influence. 3) The difference of contact angle caused by the condition of the surface of textiles is influenced by such factors as thickness, twist and density of yarn. / 「Drop-Absorption Test」を,同種類の繊維の糸の異る,同組織の織物3種について行い,浸透速度に影響を与える因子について検討した。1)K=V/t^3/2 K=_0・k K_0=2/3・(1/2)^3/2・n_0π^2r~7/2 k=(γcosθ/η)^3/2において,K_0は毛細管の大きさとその数に比例する量であるが,数をcover factorにおきかえた場合,糸の量に比例する量と考えられるk_0の比は9:9:7となる。 2) kはγ/ηを一定としたので,cosθ^3/2に比例する量となり,接触角θは繊維を同一にしたので,織物の表面状態が原因する接触角の差にしぼられる。しかしKの比が4:2:1となるので,その影響が大きいことになる。3)表面状態の差異が原因する接触角の因子として,糸の太さ,撚,密度等が考えられる。
