Abstract: Anchor bolt tension test varying with area and length ratio of shank to thread were performed to obtain the relationship between axial force and elongation. Steel material (SN400) was selected and tension test with 10 specimens were investigated. Then, the characteristics of uniform elongation and plastic deformation capacity were analyzed. Present evaluation formula was led by the plastic deformation capacity and calculating the relationship between average stress and strain. Accuracy of the structural model was shown by tension test and FEM.
