Abstract: A shearing behavior of Concrete filled steel tubular (CFT) member has been investigated by authors. The short columns of CFT without diaphragm were tested in the previous study. In order to observe the shearing behavior of the real CFT columns in building structures, the 12 column specimens with diaphragm have been tested under cyclic shearing force. The test results of the yield strength and the shearing capacity are discussed through investigation of the obtained load vs. deformation relations.
