Abstract: Renewable energy business in Germany has become a major industry, generating many jobs. What is distinctive in German universities compared to Japanese universities is that internships occupy important positions. This article deals with the curriculum of universities in Germany that produce human resources for renewable energy businesses. It has become clear that environmental faculties in Germany tend to be established at the same time as Japan. It can be seen that the industry-academia partnership internships are working despite having a relatively short history.
