Abstract: (1) From June to September 1954, in the City of Nagasaki, authors examined 100 dogs, and found 6 dogs (0.59%) to be infected naturally with the Paragonimus. (2) From lungs of the 3 dogs, 17 worms' cysts and 20 worms were found. (3) The worms were 6.0mm 10.0mm 8.0mm to average 8 worms, in length. These worms were surely identified as Paragonimus westermanii. (4) Six dogs with Paragonimus were caught in the area of the Urakami River. Chogi TANAKA's (1936) report that he could experimentally infect dogs with Eriocheir japonicus from this river was established by our investigation.
