Abstract: This report deals with the results of experiments investigating the following points: (A) The development and longevity of filariae in mosquitoes exposed to a series of constant temperatures just after the feeding on the microfilarial carrier, (B) the relation between the velocity of development, or the reciprocal of developmental days to reach maturity and the rearing temperature, and (C) the maximum longevity of infective larvae in mosquitoes kept at the various constant temperatures.
