Abstract: Automated remote monitoring system would be effective for the management of infrastructures and high accurate structural identification is indispensable to recognize the level of structural deterioration by change of natural frequency. In this study, we developed the remote monitoring system by mobile communication system and high accurate structural vibration-estimation method. The system was installed to the Kabashima Bridge, an existing bridge in service in Nagasaki. This paper shows the abstract of the system and a few months’ bridge monitoring results.
