アンケート調査に見る島原市と深江町の地域差の分析

Abstract

The volcanic disaster of Mt. Fugen in Unzen was prolonged and enlarged more than five years. People of Shimabara City and Fukae Town had suffered from repeated pyroclastic flows and debris flows. The volcanic disaster rendered severe bad effects on the local economy in commerce and industry. Several reconstruction and promotion plans to construct city with countermeasures against disasters were made by local governments. In this paper, we investigate civic life in Shimabara and Fukae, consciousness of citizens about reconstruction plans, promotion plans and city planning after volcanic disaster by questionnaire survey. The present situations and problems about city life and resident's consciousness about various plans of Shimabara and Fukae are compared and discussed.
