Abstract: This paper presents an influence of the compensation current detection characteristic on the active filter performance. An active filter is composed of IGBT inverter and DSP controller, and a load is the condenser input type threephase diode rectifier. In the experiment, the cutoff frequency of the filter for detecting the compensation current is changed, and the influence of the compensation effect is investigated. Even if the filter for detecting the compensation current in this system does not be used, the higher harmonics are decreased.
